The
History
Knowing the history of the church
was once I appretiated the most because the history of the church covers the
history of Christianity and in these matter it covers life history through out
living as Christian.
Christianity begun in the time of
Christ he enter into the world and mankind’s history long after creation and as
he ministered in the world he creates many factors affected that develops of
the Christianity that Christ brought. At first we know that Christ was born in
Jewish culture and since he was born in that culture it helps me to understand
the important factor about the early Christianity.
After the death of Jesus there are
something happen that makes the follower of Christ evolve to many through
diaspora were in this is the most important factor of the history of
Christianity an aiding fator of rapid growth of early Christianity. The diaspora
or the scattering of the early Christians that makes them encourage to spread
the gospel.
The history of the early Christian
believers were one that makes us an inspiration to continue because the
suffering they experience and that because of their faith in Christ so also
like us to be continue daily proclaiming the gospel.
The
Council of Nicea
In the ti8me of the council of Nicea
Christianity had changes of its belief and salvation and that happen on A.D
325. There are four major factors that changes here and its about nature of
faith, nature of church, nature of church authority, and nature of practices
and worship. These things brings the whole image of Christianity conflicts
because of such believe that put many and some are mixed, so in that it becomes
confusing.
By 325 most Christians believed that
a person had to be a member of the Church otherwise he or she could not be
saved. In the New Testament times belief about the ordinances changed from the
idea that they were a church that reminded the believer about Christ work to
the idea that they were saved though which the believer received God’s grace
and even through worship were the main thing and reason why even to this day
many kinds of worship that we can see that it is the result of changes of
practice of worshiping God by the doing of the church before implanting that
the mass is the true worship for all even it is not or it is wrong
The
Muslims
The muslims were founded by Mohammed
begun on 57th century were here he brings to the muslims the vision
through their God called “Allah” that every Muslims must accept the will of
Allah no matter what happen and by following what Allah said.
The Muslims is permitted by his
religion to seek many women and that there belief seeking women for his sexual
pleasure as well as to marry many more than a one wife and believing not to eat
pork or drink alcohol. Muslims continue to make this practices and prove to
other religion that they are true of their doings because Allah makes happy
what they are doing.
From the beginning of time of Muslim
religion in A.D 622 they expand more in A.D 732 muslims doing advance into the
west and the rapid growth of the muslims and their religion marks on of the
greatest losses to Christian growth in history and Christianity’s losses in
three reason. The political military factor the percian and rome had fought
each other and becom weakened in power that they can resist Muslim military
power. Second is that Christianity failure to become the religion of the common
people, such as in North Africa and lastly Christianity’s low moral and almost
paganlike condition in many places that is why the result of this happen during
the expansion of the Muslims makes mixed of Chriastian and pagan practices.
The
Martin’s Luther Reform
In the life of Martin Luther he
makes the 95 theses to make the people opened their eyes upon the truth. Martin
Luther gave the higher authority of the scripture than he did either to the
pope or the Church council, we know that he built his theology on the Bible and
its scripture itself. The 95 theses of theology of Martin Luther was once of
the greatest inspiration of braveness to the Christians even to this days like
when he defend himself infront of the popes face that what he do is truth not a
lie. When Martin Luther taught that the scriptures had the authority without
mistake and the pope did not, the pope himself felt threatened. If the popes
authority was not the highest on the
earth then the office himself tells lie and was false, so in this matter the
Church attack Luther to defend himself and luther did not recant what he know
the truth and he defend himself proving to the chur h and the council that what
he does is not a lie and what the scripture says is what only the scripture
says not himself are saying.
The
Rationalism
During the rise of rationalism we
will find Christianity working against a move to established mans reason higher
than God’s revelation also it is seen that Christianity is working to defeat
systems of unbeliefs.
During the 18th century
the controversy over the pietism and other thoughts of being joined in
Christian groups is the reason why Lutherans divide and the aided of
rationalism and Roman Catholic persecution made things worse and caused many
people
To question their religious belief further as
well as support revolutionary activities. The Roman Catholic organization was
being a protection of the church from ther greater effect of any radicals rationalistic
kind of influences because it can be cause of hurting the protestants group of
believers.
The Church continually does its
painful persecution of the protestants group in many places, but politically
the Roman Church were made a peace with the different nations and made other
small groups continued to develop and their work during this period also.
